ROCK Rescue Rock Rescue is a nonprofit rescue that was formed to rescue and help animals from the local humane society and private referrals. The rescue was originally started by one of the group who painted rocks with portraits of animals and sold them to raise money to pay for the expenses of helping needy animals. That is how the rescue got the name "Rock Rescue." Some changes have been made along the way with the rescue, and starting January, 2008, we will only be able to rescue smaller dogs. Adopting a Friend Adoption fees are based on the costs of treating, spay/neutering, other medical needs, vaccinations, etc., that occur for each individual rescue. As animals are adopted to new homes, the adoption fees are used to help other animals.
We require an application be filled out on each of our rescues, and once approved, a meeting is arranged for introductions, and a deserving rescue will get a second chance at a loving and caring forever home. Because of our rescue's commitment, we reserve the right to refuse any application.
